ABU DHABI (Kashmir English): In the sixth match of the Asia Cup T20 tournament 2025, Pakistan’s batting line-up against India was badly shaken; the top order completely failed, and India was given a target of only 128 runs to win.

The high-voltage match of Group A in the Asia Cup T20 tournament is being played in Dubai, where Pakistan won the toss against arch-rivals India and decided to bat first.

The Pakistan team scored 127 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs while playing first.

Pakistan’s first wicket against India fell on the very first ball when Saim Ayub returned to the pavilion without scoring any runs on the ball of Pandya.

The second Pakistan player to be dismissed was Muhammad Haris, who scored 3 runs for a total score of 6 and gave away the wicket to Bumrah.

Fakhar Zaman was dismissed for 17 runs on a total score of 45, and was dismissed by Axar Patel. After him, Pakistani captain Salman Agha was also dismissed by Axar Patel for 3 runs.

The batsman who came after Salman Agha also left the crease after scoring 5 runs on a total score of 64, and was bowled by Kuldeep Yadav. After him, Hassan Nawaz also became a target for Kuldeep Yadav on the very first ball.

Sahibzada Farhan also lost courage on 83 runs and gave his wicket to Kuldeep Yadav, who scored 40 runs off 44 balls. Pakistan’s 8th wicket fell for 97 runs when Faheem Ashraf was dismissed for 11 runs.

Pakistan’s 9th wicket fell for 111 runs against India, Sufyan Muqim was dismissed for 10 runs.

No changes have been made to the Pakistan team for today’s match. The Pakistan team has entered the field with the same 11 players who led Pakistan to a 93-run victory against Oman.

The Pakistan team includes captain Salman Ali Agha, Sahibzada Farhan, Saim Ayub, Muhammad Haris, Fakhar Zaman, Hassan Nawaz, Muhammad Nawaz, Faheem Ashraf, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Sufyan Muqim, and Abrar Ahmed.

The Indian team includes Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill, Sanju Samson, captain Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Verma, Shivam Dubey, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, and Varun Chakraborty.

The two teams are facing each other for the second time in 6 months. Before that, the Pakistan and India teams faced each other in the Champions Trophy match.

Both teams are in excellent form in terms of recent performance. India won the Asia Cup against the United Arab Emirates by 9 wickets, while Pakistan defeated Afghanistan and the UAE to win the tri-nation series.

The record of both teams in the Asia Cup is also interesting.

India has won 10 out of 19 matches so far, while Pakistan has won 6. Pakistan’s last victory against India in the Asia Cup was in 2022.

India has become the champion of the Asia Cup 8 times, while Pakistan has won this title only 2 times.
