ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan’s ace javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem is currently undergoing treatment at a renowned hospital in Cambridge, United Kingdom (UK) for an injury.
According to hospital sources, a special medical team has been formed for his treatment, which is working day and night for his complete recovery. Arshad Nadeem suffered a serious injury ahead of an international competition scheduled in Switzerland.
Initial medical reports have stated that Nadeem’s condition is satisfactory, and doctors are hopeful that he will make a full recovery soon.
Regarding his fitness, his doctor, Ali Bajwa, said that it will take time for Arshad Nadeem to participate in competitions.
On the other hand, the Olympic gold medalist has appealed to the nation to pray for his speedy recovery. Fans are pouring in well wishes and prayers on social media.
Earlier on Monday, Nadeem arrived at London’s Heathrow Airport. Considering his fitness, the Pakistani athlete has decided not to participate in an international event in Switzerland.
