SKARDU (Kashmir English): Imam of Friday prayers and Jamaat Skardu Allama Sheikh Hassan Jafari has issued an important message to Shia and Sunni youth across the country, including Skardu, in the wake of the martyrdom of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Allama Sheikh Hassan has urges public to demonstrate peaceful protests across Skardu. In his video message, he appealed to the youth that this is not the time for emotional reactions but for unity, patience, and wisdom.
Muslim Ummah Mourns
Allama Sheikh Hassan Jafari said that the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader is a great tragedy over which the entire Muslim Ummah is mourning, and the Islamic world is saddened.
However, he stressed that in the current situation, mutual unity and national solidarity are the greatest weapons. According to him, weakening one’s own country or fomenting internal chaos is actually tantamount to strengthening the enemy’s intentions, because the enemy always wants to divide and weaken Muslims.

Addressing the youth, Allama Sheikh Hassan Jafari made it clear that Islam and the homeland can be strengthened only through peace, brotherhood, and mutual respect.
He said that this attitude will prove to be the strongest and most effective revenge against the enemy. He called the Shia and Sunni youth in the country’s capital and directed them to avoid any kind of provocation on social media or in public places and to show responsibility.
The unanimous stance of the scholars
Imam Juma Skardu further said that all the scholars agree that patience, tolerance, and adherence to the law are indispensable in the current critical situation.
He emphasized that the survival of Pakistan lies only in mutual unity, and if the nation remains united, no enemy will be able to harm the country. At the end of the message, he prayed that Allah Almighty grant unity to the Muslim Ummah and protect the beloved homeland from all kinds of internal and external conspiracies.
