MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The All-Azad Kashmir Badminton Championship, organized by the Sports Board, has begun in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Kashmir.
The event has been named after Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos of the Pakistan Armed Forces.
In addition to district teams from all Azad Kashmir, teams from all government departments are also participating in the tournament.
A special feature of this championship is that for the first time, women’s teams are also participating on a large scale, which adds further importance and colour to this event.
Teams from all 10 districts of AJK, especially women teams are participating in the event.
