MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (AJKPSC) has warned of strict action against those spreading false information on social media.
A press release issued by AJKPSC on Wednesday said that several groups have been operating illegally on social media with the names AJKPSC or similar to it.
Various rumors are being spread in Whatsapp groups every day regarding the institution (schedule and other information), due to which misunderstandings are created among the candidates and the general public.
The press release said that the AJK Public Service Commission does not have any page or group on social media; all other groups operating under the name of the commission should immediately terminate.
“Otherwise, the institution reserves the right to take action under the Cyber Crime Act,” the press release said.
The statement further confirmed that all information related to the institution, including schedules, press releases, and handouts, was released on the commission’s website: www.ajkpsc.gov.pk.
The PSC further states that aspirants and the general public should rely only on the said website for any information.
