MUZZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): A grand ceremony was organized at Muzaffarabad Police Lines to pay tribute to the martyrs of Azad Kashmir Police, which began with laying a wreath at the Martyrs’ Memorial.
Inspector General of Police Azad Kashmir Rana Abdul Jabbar, other senior police officers, and the families of the martyrs attended the event. While laying a wreath at the memorial, the great sacrifices of the martyrs were saluted.
Later, a formal ceremony was organized in which IG Police Azad Kashmir Rana Abdul Jabbar paid tribute to the martyrs and said that their sacrifices will not go in vain.
He said that the police force personnel are always ready to make every sacrifice for the security of the country and the protection of the people, and will never shy away from sacrificing their lives like the martyrs.
The ceremony also included Quran recitation, prayers, and special speeches to elevate the ranks of the martyrs. Participants described the occasion as a symbol of national unity and the spirit of sacrifice.
