AJK police department transfers several SHO’s to new postings

MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): A major reshuffle has taken place in the police department, with several Station House Officers (SHOs) being transferred to new postings.

The transfers, which were ordered in the interest of the government, are designed to create a change in the department hierarchy and enhance its overall performance.

As per the transfer notification released by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ansar Sajjad has been transferred from Police Station Ghari Dupatta to SHO City Police Station Muzaffarabad.

Zahid Umar, who was earlier posted at Police Station Ghari Dupatta, has also been transferred to a new posting. Raja Sohail Khan, who was deputed at Police Station Civil Secretariat, has been posted in a new position, and Liaquat Hameed has been posted as Additional SHO Ghari Dupatta.

Apart from these postings, several other SHOs have been relocated to new duties. Mohsin Ali Awan has been shifted from Police Station Kahuri, and Adeel Afsar has been transferred from Police Station Chhatar.

Shaheed-ur-Rehman, who was posted at Police Station Civil Secretariat, has been posted to a new position, and Basharat Hussain has been posted from Police Station Jalalabad.

Ali Asghar has been posted from Police Station City, and Shaukat Jamil has been posted from Police Station Chhatar.

In addition to this, Shafqat Hussain Naqvi has also been shifted from Police Station Naseerabad, while Babar Yaqoob has been shifted from Police Station Outpost. Waqar Ahmed has been posted as Police Station President in place of ASI.

These shifts will be followed by a great improvement in the police department’s hierarchy and functioning as a whole.

The police department has said that the transfers were done in the public interest and to enhance the functioning of the department.

The department has also indicated that the transfers are part of the efforts being made to effect a change in the department’s hierarchy and enhance its overall functioning.

The transfers are also likely to have a beneficial effect on the functioning of the department and will assist in enhancing its services to the public.
