MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmri English): Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Police has announced to pay 100 percent of semester fees for the children of police employees of scales 1 to 9.
The decision was taken during the meeting of Welfare Committee of the Azad Kashmir Police chaired by Inspector General AJK Rana Abdul Jabbar.
According to the details, the Welfare Committee approved scholarships for the children of police employees studying in registered educational and technical institutions of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir from the police welfare income.
The scheme will facilitate the low-income police employees, including Naib Qasid, Follower, Orderly Constable, Constable Head Constable.
In the meeting, the committee also approved dowry funds for girls, payments of burial expenses to the heirs of deceased employees, and Eidi for the children of police martyrs on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The employees expressed gratitude to AJK Inspector General of Police for resolving the financial difficulties related to the marriage and studies of their children.
