MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq has directed strict action against those involved in the incident that took place at the Azad Jammu and Kashmir University few days back.
A high-level meeting on law and order was held in Muzaffarabad under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq.
The meeting was attended by most senior Minister and Minister of Interior Colonel (R) Waqar Ahmed Noor, Minister of Communications and Public Works Chaudhry Azhar Sadiq, Minister of Health Nisar Ansar Abdali, Inspector General of Police Rana Abdul Jabbar, Commissioner Muzaffarabad Division Chaudhry Guftar Ahmed, and DIG Muzaffarabad Region, Yasin Qureshi.
Detailed briefing on university incident
During the meeting, the Commissioner Muzaffarabad gave a detailed briefing to the Prime Minister about the incident that took place at Azad Jammu and Kashmir University.
The Prime Minister stated that no negligence in maintaining law and order would be tolerated.
He directed that strict action be taken against those involved in the university incident in accordance with the law and that they be brought to justice.
