AJK Health Minister pays visit to CMH Muzaffarabad, Inspects emergency ward

MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Health Minister of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Syed Bazil Ali Naqvi, paid a surprise visit to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Muzaffarabad late last night and inspected the emergency ward in detail. On this occasion, Commandant CMH Brigadier Shakir and Director General Health, Azad Kashmir, Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed, were also present.

During the visit, the Public Health Minister directly met the patients undergoing treatment in the emergency ward and their families and inquired in detail about the medical facilities provided, the performance of doctors and paramedical staff, the timely treatment of patients, and the availability of medicines. The patients and their attendants expressed their satisfaction with the overall medical facilities and the attitude of the staff.

Public Health Minister Syed Bazil Ali Naqvi appreciated the professionalism, discipline, and patient-friendly treatment of the administration of CMH Muzaffarabad and expressed full confidence in the services of the institution.

He said that providing timely, quality, and effective medical facilities to the public is the top priority of the government, and all available resources are being utilized for this purpose.

Syed Bazil Ali Naqvi, while issuing instructions, said that no negligence or negligence will be tolerated in emergency services and the safety of the lives and health of patients should be ensured at all times.

The Public Health Minister directed the concerned authorities to ensure the availability of staff in emergency wards, supply of medicines, and medical equipment at all times so that the public does not face any kind of difficulty.

Meanwhile, the Public Health Minister paid tribute to the services of doctors, nursing and paramedical staff, and said that serving the public in difficult circumstances is a national duty which should be performed with full responsibility and passion.
