MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The High Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) has ordered the AJK government to appoint the President of the Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (BAJK) within two months as per the rules and regulations.
According to the details, the Azad Kashmir government issued an advertisement for the appointment of the president in the Bank of AJK, in which candidates from Azad Kashmir were included.
Allegedly, the Finance Minister appointed his preferred candidate, against whom the candidate Muhammad Ayub Khan had filed a writ petition in the High Court.
High Court judge Justice Syed Shahid Bihar heard the case, and while pronouncing the verdict, ordered that the government should make the appointment within two months as per the rules and regulations and keep all the candidates included in the advertisement in the process.
