MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Inland Revenue Department of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has officially launched the AJK Tax Asaan Mobile App, which represents a significant advancement towards the digital transformation of the regional tax system and the enhancement of taxpayer services.
The initiative, which was launched together with the BI Revenue Collection and IT Dashboard, intends to improve transparency and make revenue collection more efficient while providing taxpayers the ability to communicate with authorities more quickly.
At a ceremony with senior officials present AJK Minister for Inland Revenue and Finance Chaudhry Qasim Majeed introduced the new digital platforms. The government plans to use technology-based solutions for tax administration modernization, which serves as the foundation for this initiative.
Officials presented the main functions of the AJK Tax Asaan Mobile App and the BI dashboard during the launch event. The revenue system will gain better efficiency and oversight through these new digital technologies which will follow the success of the AJK Point of Sale POS Invoicing System.
Majeed explained that the new platforms will provide taxpayers with a secure, integrated, user-friendly digital environment. He stated that the government will guarantee tax compliance through simpler processes while achieving more financial transparency.
Taxpayers can use the AJK Tax Asaan Mobile App to validate their POS-issued invoices, access their registration information, view their return records, and conduct tax payments through the internet.
