BHIMBER (Kashmir English): Three Azad Kashmir government employees have been suspended from service for participating in anti-state activities, protest rallies, and incitement, the officials said on Monday.

According to the separate orders, the suspended employees include one from the Local Government Department, one from the Health Department, and one from the Education Department of colleges.

As per details, the Local Government Department employee, Muhammad Arshad, was found to have participated in an Awami Action Committee gathering in Poona, a town in Samahni Tehsil, which was deemed anti-state.

The department has formed an inquiry committee against Arshad and ordered a departmental inquiry report within ten days.

Similarly, an employee of the AJK health department and another from the education department have also been suspended, and a departmental inquiry is underway.

The orders stated that government employees are bound by a code of conduct that prohibits involvement in anti-state activities under the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Civil Servants Rules, 1977.

On the other hand, the government has also initiated an investigation against those employees whose family members or close relatives are involved in anti-state activities, and whether the employees have failed to prevent such actions.
