ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has paid an important visit to Quetta Garrison and Command and Staff College, where he addressed the officers and faculty and reviewed the ongoing security situation in Balochistan and the professional preparedness of the Pakistan Army in detail.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Commander Quetta Corps gave him a grand welcome upon his arrival in Quetta.
According to the details released by the ISPR, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, during his address, described the Command and Staff College as an excellent manifestation and symbol of high training standards, intellectual capacity, and professional skills.
He emphasized that in the present era, keeping oneself in tune with modern warfare requirements, rapidly emerging new technologies, and multi-domain operations has become the most important need of the hour.
He directed the officers and men present there in eloquent words to continuously improve their professional skills according to the changing war environment and challenges, while maintaining the highest standards of operational superiority and readiness for national defense at all costs.
Ending terrorism and commitment to development
During his visit, the Field Marshal also held a separate meeting with the officers and men serving in Balochistan and highly praised their high morale and excellent operational readiness for the defense of the beloved homeland. Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir said that with the steadfast and unwavering support of the Pakistani people, the armed forces are fully committed to eliminating terrorism from the country.
He further clarified that Pakistan’s journey of progress and prosperity cannot be stopped by any kind of negative propaganda, fake news, or terrorism sponsored by outsiders.
He expressed his firm resolve that all external efforts to create obstacles in the path of the country’s progress and success through various proxies will prove to be completely unsuccessful.
Sustainable peace and governance in Balochistan
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir reiterated that public welfare, inclusive development, and better governance are essential to bring sustainable peace, stability, and prosperity in Balochistan.
Along with this, he commended all the efforts made by the provincial government to promote socio-economic development in the province and further strengthen and consolidate state-to-state relations.
