ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Aurat March Karachi has announced “Misogynist of the Year Awards,” a satirical campaign part of this year’s Mother’s Day event on May 10.
The group shared the news on their Instagram, “For the first time in our history, we present to you Misogynist of the Year Awards! with a clarification that this was a Pakistan edition.”
The video shared on the post shows a trophy shaped like golden footwear [chapal], with ‘Misogynist of the Year 2025-26’ written on the base of the trophy.
“Our men spend the entire year displaying their excessive misogyny. We are so used to living in this misogynistic environment that we often forget when or what they’ve said and whom they’ve hurt with their words. So why don’t we all refresh our memories together?” the caption of the post stated.
