DOHA (Kashmir English): Qatar has temporarily suspended the visa-on-arrival facility for Pakistanis.
According to the Pakistani embassy, this decision has been made due to the current regional situation.
Meanwhile, Pakistani citizens are strictly advised to obtain a regular visa before departing for Qatar.
The embassy statement said that Pakistani citizens who arrive in Qatar without a visa may face entry restrictions or repatriation at the immigration counter at the airport.
Obtain regular visa before departing for Qatar
The embassy has advised travelers to complete their visa documents before traveling and to confirm with Qatari authorities or relevant visa centers for the latest information to avoid any legal or travel difficulties.
It should be noted that Qatar had previously provided a visa-on-arrival facility for Pakistani citizens, but in view of the recent tense regional situation, this facility has been temporarily suspended.
It should also be noted that Iran is currently targeting American installations in Qatar and other Gulf countries.
During the Iran-US-Israel war, Gulf countries are severely affected. Iran has carried out severe attacks on energy infrastructure in Qatar.
