KARACHI (Kashmir English): The plane operated by the private airline established its route from Islamabad to Riyadh but encountered an emergency situation, which required its pilots to execute an emergency landing at Karachi airport due to technical problems that occurred during the flight.

The sources reported that the AirSial-operated aircraft encountered a sudden technical problem, which happened after the plane reached its Arabian Sea airspace entry point.

The incident occurred while Flight PF-768 operated with approximately 160 people on board the aircraft. The pilot notified air traffic control about the emergency situation, which required him to redirect the aircraft toward Karachi, where the plane landed without any injuries or further complications.

The authorities reported that all people on board the plane stayed secure throughout the situation. AirSial management has begun making arrangements to transport passengers to Saudi Arabia on an alternative flight.

The airport has moved the travelers to the Karachi airport transit lounge while they wait for the current information.
