MIRPUR (Kashmir English): The federal government has appointed Engineer Karim Nawaz as the Chief Executive Officer of Neelum Jhelum Hydropower Company.
The Federal Ministry of Water Resources issued a formal notification of Engineer Karim Nawaz’s appointment as CEO after the cabinet decision.
Engineer Karim Nawaz is a former Chief Engineer of WAPDA and has rendered significant services in the Mangla Dam Raising Project. He belongs to Islamgarh, District Mirpur.
The newly-appointed CEO will play an effective role in improving the Neelum Jhelum Project and rectifying past technical faults.
