ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced the online facility for citizens to obtain birth certificates, making the birth registration process much simpler.
According to NADRA, citizens can use the Pak ID mobile app and register the birth of their children at their respective Union Councils (UCs) from home.
In a statement, the NADRA said that this facility is available in all districts of Punjab, while in several districts of Sindh, including Karachi East, Central, Naushahro Feroze, Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazirabad, Larkana, Jamshoro, Tando Allahyar, and Tando Muhammad Khan.
As per the announcement, registration is also available in Balochistan’s Quetta district.
According to NADRA, the scope of this facility will soon be extended to the entire country, for which work is underway, and this facility will be available to all citizens soon.
