Life in Kharan Bazaar continued as normal, with shops open, business activities underway, and citizens carrying on with their daily routines without fear or disruption.

According to the initial details, around 20 to 25 militants attacked the police station in Kharan, resulting in a very intense firefight. Another faction focused on looting banks and softer civilian targets.
After receiving this actionable intelligence, FC troops took prompt action and moved in, sealing off the city. Initial reports are that between 4 and 5 militants were killed in this initial shootout.
