ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The possible schedule of public holidays in the year 2026 (holidays in Pakistan 2026) has been revealed.
According to the available information, the first public holiday of the new year will be on February 5 on the occasion of Kashmir Day.
After this, the holidays for the religious festival Eid-ul-Fitr are expected from March 21 to March 23. These holidays will be held across the country.
There will be a public holiday across the country on May 1 on the occasion of Labor Day and an official holiday will also be observed on May 28 on the occasion of Youm-e-Takbir.
A three-day holiday is expected from May 27 on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
Ashura Muharram holidays will be held on June 25 and 26 in the Islamic month of Muharram.
There will be a public holiday on August 14 on the occasion of Independence Day.
Similarly, there will be an official holiday on August 26 on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) and on November 9 on the occasion of Iqbal Day.
The year 2026 will also include Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas holidays.
However, December 26 will be a holiday only for Christian employees.
