HATTIAN BALA (Kashmir English): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Azad Kashmir Vice President Syed Zeeshan Haider has strongly dismissed the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) demand for early elections in Azad Kashmir.
In a press release issued today, Haider said that this demand is a sign of PML-N’s panic and fear of certain defeat. He emphasized that elections will be held on time, and no one will be allowed to tamper with the state constitution and law.
Earlier today in a press conference, former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider demanded early elections in the state, citing a deepening crisis at the constitutional, legal, and administrative levels.
Making several allegations against the PML-N, Syed Zeeshan Haider accused Raja Farooq Haider of misusing government resources for his own benefit.
He claimed that Farooq Haider has no significant performance in his constituency and is completely dependent on government vehicles, petrol, schemes, and fake recruitments.
He alleged that the PML-N is engaging in nepotism, corruption, and unfair distribution of privileges in other constituencies.
“The demand for early elections is a ‘crazy rigged dream’, but the conscious people of the state are no longer going to be deceived by the PML-N,” he stated.
He added that the fake government of the PML-N, headed by Shahbaz Sharif, is taking its last breath. “By December 2025, the PML-N will be politically wiped out from the entire Pakistan, and they have no political future left in Azad Kashmir either.”
Syed Zeeshan Haider expressed confidence in the PTI’s chances in the upcoming elections, stating that the party has become an unbeatable force, especially in the Jhelum Valley constituencies.
He emphasized that the PTI is committed to establishing a clean, transparent, and empowered political system.
Zeeshan Haider announced that a general workers’ meeting will be held on July 27 to announce the action plan for the upcoming election campaign. The PTI plans to launch a full-fledged election campaign throughout Azad Kashmir to ensure that real people’s representatives reach the state’s houses.
