12 suspected terrorists linked to Indian spy agency RAW arrested in Punjab operations: CTD

LAHORE (Kashmir English): The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab arrested 12 terrorists of the Indian intelligence agency “RAW” along with a large quantity of weapons, explosives, detonators, ID bombs, and cash.

According to CTD Punjab, photos, videos, and locations of sensitive places and sensitive organizations have also been recovered from the possession of the arrested terrorists. Photos, videos, and locations of a madrasa and a fair were also recovered from the possession of the terrorists.

Officials said that the terrorists arrested from Faisalabad had the intention of spreading fear and promoting religious hatred in Punjab. The terrorists arrested from Lahore include Deep Singh, Azmat, Faizan, Nabeel Abrar, and Usman Sarfraz, while Danish was arrested from Faisalabad.

The terrorists of “Fitna-ul-Hindustan” arrested from Bahawalpur include Rajab, Hashim, Saqib, and Arif. The CTD said that the terrorists were arrested with the help of a Facebook ID named Adil, who was working for “RAW” in India.

It was further informed that the arrested terrorists were provided heavy funding by the Indian terrorist agency “RAW”. Cases have been registered against the Fitna-ul-Hindustan terrorists, and further investigation is underway.

7 IED bombs, 2 detonators, 102 feet of safety fuse wire, mobile phones, cash, and weapons have been recovered from the possession of the terrorists.
