HATTIAN BALA (Kashmir English): At Read Foundation School and College in Hattian Bala, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) the educational establishment hosted its first robotics exhibition for students. Robotics designs from both student groups at the school’s boys and girls campuses left viewers in complete admiration.
Students showcased a variety of projects constructed using artificial intelligence at the exhibition. These included cleaning robots, solar-powered boats, traffic control systems, security alarms, automatic toll gates and robot guides. All were designed and built by the students themselves.
Several important guests attended the event. These included Jhelum Valley Deputy Commissioner Ashfaq Gillani, District Council Chairman Taib Kayani, local police chief Mirza Zahid Hussain, and Read Foundation General Manager Syed Khalid Hussain Kazmi. Many parents, teachers and local leaders also came to see the students’ work.
During his speech, Chairman Taib Kayani said such events help students develop creativity and confidence. Deputy Commissioner Gillani praised the students, saying that with proper support, Pakistan’s youth can achieve international success.
Organizers designed the exhibition to provide students with hands-on experience using contemporary technology. The General Manager of the Read Foundation expressed astonishment at the advanced level of projects shown by girls studying in distant Hattian Bala.
The speakers explained that students learn robotics and artificial intelligence to excel in worldwide competitions and create future career opportunities. They called this an important step toward building a knowledge-based economy in the region.
The practical experience students receive with emerging technologies enables schools to develop their problem-solving abilities and ignite innovative thinking. These initiatives serve the purpose of connecting remote communities specifically by diminishing the modern education divide between metropolises and the regional countryside.
The act of building functional prototypes lets students develop career confidence in technical fields for the future while nearby communities recognize young people’s abilities. The program also seeks to promote equality between males and females in technology professions.
Education that embraces practical science forms the foundation for youth career readiness as it helps boost national technological progress. The accomplishment at Hattian Bala serves as a motivating example for educational institutions across the board.
Parents and teachers thanked the Read Foundation for organizing the event and for promoting modern education. The school’s success has become a source of pride for the entire community.
