Bhimbar: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has laid the foundation for the Danish school in the Bhimbar district of Azad Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, 22nd January 2025.

Daanish School Science and Technology Centre of Excellence is a string of public schools in the country. These schools are a significant milestone in the development of the AJK region.

The foundation for the first ever branch of this school has been laid by PM Shehbaz, which will provide quality education to the unprivileged. The school is expected to be built by next year.

The PM has also expressed his passion to construct more schools in AJK for the impoverished and less privileged children of the region. There are many gifted but resource-limited children all across the country that can benefit from the PM’s thoughtful initiative.

He claimed that his leader and the former PM of Pakistan, Mian Nawaz Sharif, was the driving force behind the Danish Schools project, which was first intended to give gifted and intelligent children from Punjab’s underdeveloped areas access to high-quality education whose parents couldn’t afford their tuition.

The PM also conveyed hope that the school would start functioning in no longer than one year.

Speaking, the PM said that the government would cover all the school-related expenses. “Thousands of students are now serving different key departments after completing their studies from Danish schools,” he added.

He added that free meals, literature, and boarding are provided to the students in the schools. He also stated that the school’s buildings would be completely separate for boys and girls.

Moreover, he declared that more Danish schools will soon open in Neelum and other parts of AJK. Also hoping for additional Danish schools to soon open in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s combined districts, Gilgit Baltistan, and Balochistan.

Many important political personalities like the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir (PM AJK), Chaudhry Anwarul Haq, and Secretary General of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Chaudhry Tariq Farooq.

PM AJK Anwar-ul-Haq claimed that by founding a Daanish school in the impoverished district of Bhimber, PM Shehbaz Sharif paved the way of knowledge. “This is his credit, and we are grateful for the launch of this great project. This is a game-changer initiative,” he added.

The Danish Schools are dubbed the brainchild of Shehbaz Sharif when he was the Chief Minister of Punjab and enrol 110 students a year, of whom 10 may pay tuition. The remaining 100 children are admitted on the basis of merit and get free education.

The PM believes the children of his country to have tonnes of potential. This provides the bright but economically challenged children of the country a remarkable opportunity for receiving quality education.
