LAHORE (Kashmir English): Lahore Qalandars will meet Karachi Kings in the PSL Eliminator at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium today (Thursday) as the final phase of the event progresses smoothly after a brief hiatus due to the border tensions.
On Wednesday, Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United played in the Qualifier 1 at the same venue with Quetta Gladiators defeating defending champion Islamabad United by 30 runs and also reach the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final, scheduled to be played on May 25.
The loser of the Wednesday’s match, Islamabad United will have another chance to reach the final of the tournament. They will have to compete for the spot with the winner of today’s match (Lahore Qalandars / Karachi Kings), in a do-or-die game on Friday.
Quetta Gladiators finished the league stage atop the table with 15 points. The side has now reached the final of the tournament.
