MIRPUR (Kashmir English): President Azad Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry laid the foundation stone of Azad Kashmir’s first-ever parking plaza in Mirpur.

As per the details, the four-storyed parking plaza will serve 210 vehicles in Mirpur and will be constructed within three years in the DC Garden area of the city.

The project will cost Rs 674.28 crore and is the first parking plaza in Azad Kashmir, covering an area of ​​75,000 square feet.

As per the details, the plaza will have a ticketing office, bathrooms, and CCTV surveillance rooms.

On the occasion of inauguration, Chief Engineer PPH and Director General Development Authority Raja Mahmood Mumtaz Rathore, SE Building Division Tahir Mahmood Butt, SE Public Health Engineering Nadeem Iqbal and Xen Building Shahzad Aurangzeb gave a detailed briefing to the President AJK Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry regarding this project.

President AJK Barrister Sultan formally laid the foundation stone of Azad Kashmir’s first parking plaza at Mirpur DC Garden on Wednesday.

Azad Kashmir Minister for Physical Planning and Housing Chaudhry Yasir Sultan, Minister for Electricity Chaudhry Arshad Hussain, Chairman District Raja Naveed Akhtar Goga, Mayor Municipal Corporation Chaudhry Usman Ali Khalid, and others were also present on this occasion.
