MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Secretary Local Government and Rural Development has formed teams to conduct physical inspections of development schemes approved and executed during the financial year 2024-25.
The order issued by the AJK Local Govt. & Rural Development Department (LG&RDD) stated that these teams will assess the quality of work, adherence to approved specifications, and overall progress of the projects.
Furthermore, the inspection teams will submit reports and recommendations by August 15, 2025.
As per the details, the government has constituted four teams with three assigned districts and entities each. The team will inspect development schemes in Haveli, Kotli, Muzaffarabad, Neelum, Mirpur, Bhimber, Bagh, Sudhnoti, Poonch, Jhelum Valley, Rawalpindi (Valley), and Rawalpindi (Jammu).
The order has directed the concerned executing offices and institutions to provide the records of the development schemes to these teams.
“The said offices/institutions shall depute/detain their field/technical staff with these teams, as and when required, for facilitation of physical inspection,” it reads.
