Strike ends at UAJK, regular teaching to restart

MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Teaching activities at the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (UAJK) have officially resumed after the conclusion of a two-week-long strike by the academic staff.

According to the university administration, the protest has been called off, and regular classes will begin tomorrow. The decision brings relief to hundreds of students whose academic activities had remained suspended during the strike period.

The administration has also issued a revised schedule for class timings during the holy month of Ramazan.

UAJK Ramazan Timings

  • Monday to Thursday: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

  • Friday: 9:00 am to 12:30 pm

University officials have advised all students and faculty members to strictly follow the updated timetable.

The resumption of academic activities marks a positive development for the institution and its students, ensuring that the academic calendar proceeds without further disruption.
