JHELUM VALLEY (Kashmir English): Around 40 families announced their affiliation with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Jhelum Valley ahead of the general elections in a real challenge to the political opponents.
According to reports, over 40 families from Union Council Sarrag Chinary joined Syed Zeeshan Haider’s convoy in what is being seen as a big political upset.
Trusting Imran Khan’s ideology, politics of self-respect, and narrative of real change, the joining rang alarm bells for opponents.
In the historic joining programme held at Seri, Raja Saqib Ali, Raja Muhammad Ali, Raja Babar Shaheen, Raja Shah Zaman, Raja Mohsin Ali, Raja Usman Afsar, Raja Ahsan Ali, Raja Atif, Raja Mukhtiar, Raja Nazakat, Raja Ikram Khalid, Chaudhry Junaid, and other personalities, along with their families and communities, expressed full confidence in Syed Zeeshan Haider’s leadership.
Syed Zeeshan Haider was given a grand welcome upon his arrival, the beat of drums, thunderous slogans, and fervent enthusiasm heated up the atmosphere.
The passion of the youth and public excitement made it clear that the wind of change in the constituency has now become a ‘storm’, and the public has announced its decision in favour of Imran Khan’s ideology and Syed Zeeshan Haider’s leadership.
Addressing the ceremony, assembly candidate Syed Zeeshan Haider said that the public is now fed up with traditional politics, deprivations, and hollow slogans.
The youth have become aware, and now decisions will only be based on service, honesty, and true leadership.
He said that Union Council Sarrag Chinary will prove to be the strongest fortress of Tehreek-e-Insaf in the upcoming elections, and a historic lead will be achieved from here.

He said this is not just political inclusion but a revolution of public awareness. People are standing with Imran Khan’s ideology, politics of self-respect, and the struggle for public rights.
Raja Muhammad Ali Khan, Chairman Raja Sajjad Hussain, Raja Jameel Siddique Advocate, Syed Aftab Bukhari, Raja Tanveer Aziz, Raja Gul Afsar, Haji Qabdul Ghafoor Sheikh, Raja Afzal Akbar, Raja Azad, and other speakers also addressed the ceremony.
They said that Sarrag Chinary will lead the election campaign of the entire constituency. “Public power has now aligned in one direction, and in the coming days, more major political figures and families will join Tehreek-e-Insaf.”
Participants heated up the atmosphere with thunderous slogans like “Who will save Pakistan, Imran Khan Imran Khan”, “You try your best, he will win”, “My Pir will win, my brother will win, Zeeshan Haider will win”.
According to political circles, Syed Zeeshan Haider has caused a stir in the ranks of opponents. After dozens of political wickets have fallen, Tehreek-e-Insaf’s position in the constituency has become extraordinarily strong, while more big political surprises are expected to join the party in the next few days.
