QUETTA (Kashmir English): The Balochistan government strongly condemned the terrorist attack targeting unarmed civilians near Chaman Phatak in Quetta.

14 Dead, Several Injured
According to the Assistant Chief Minister of Balochistan, Shahid Rind, the number of martyrs in the Chaman Phatak blast has reached 14, including three FC soldiers are also among the martyrs.
Several people were injured in the blast, shifted to the hospital. Women and children are also among the injured, Shahid Rind stated.
According to Shahid Rind, terrorists deliberately targeted a public place to spread fear and panic among citizens, adding that such actions reflect the desperation and panic of anti-state elements. He said security forces immediately cordoned off the area after the blast and launched a search operation.
The Assistant Chief Minister stated that the process of collecting evidence from the site and conducting a detailed investigation is underway.
He assured that those involved in the attack would be brought to justice and reiterated the government’s commitment to maintaining peace and security in Balochistan.
